Bontrager Competes at State

Sophomore Leah Bontrager placed sixty-seventh at the Iowa High School Cross Country Championships held in Fort Dodge Saturday. Bontrager covered the five kilometer course in 21:22.8.

“Leah’s time was 54 seconds faster than last years time at the state meet. Leah enjoys running and has worked steadily throughout this past year to improve her race times. It was great to be able to see her compete at the state championship level. She represented Hillcrest Academy well today and all season long. Congratulations Leah on a great season!”
