The Ravens lose to Mediapolis

Hillcrest was on the road at Mediapolis on Thursday, September 12.  It was their first outing since losing senior outside hitter, Mia Graber, to an injury.  The Ravens fell to a tough 10th ranked team 11-25, 18-25, 6-25.  Malia Sedlacek shined with four digs, while Yani Gutierrez and Sophie Marshall both scored on two kills.  Coach Tanna reflected, “The girls showed up with heart after an emotional week.  With a new line up and having people playing new positions, I was proud of the way they adjusted and learned on the fly.  These girls are tough and I have no doubt that they will keep improving as the season goes on.”
