Volleyball Camp

CAMP DESCRIPTION:  The Hillcrest Academy volleyball camp is a four-day camp that will focus on the fundamentals of volleyball through individual drills, group drills, station work and games. Our goal is that each player will develop their individual skills, ability to work together on a team, have an enjoyable experience and gain a greater understanding of the game.

CAMP FEATURES:
Offensive fundamentals: serving form, hitting approach, down balls, attacks, setting.
Defensive fundamentals: serve receive, passing, blocking and team defensive positioning.

Camp Director, Brandon Statler will be coaching his third year at Hillcrest Academy this fall. He started youth volleyball programs at Mid-Prairie and Washington. Brandon has served as head coach of numerous club teams and has assisted with the Iowa Rockets and USA Volleyball. He has also served as a high school volleyball official.

 

 

LOCATION: Hillcrest Academy, 1421 540th Street SW, Kalona, Iowa
ELIGIBILITY: Each camp is limited to 40 campers.
COST: $50 per child
Registration can be done here and payment can be made here.
WHAT TO BRING: Volleyball or tennis shoes, knee pads, and water bottle.
