Volleyball Camp 2023

CAMP DESCRIPTION:  The Hillcrest Academy volleyball camp is a four-day camp that will focus on the fundamentals of volleyball through individual drills, group drills, station work and games. Our goal is that each player will develop their individual skills, ability to work together on a team, have an enjoyable experience and gain a greater understanding of the game.

CAMP FEATURES:
Offensive fundamentals: serving form, hitting approach, down balls, attacks, setting.
Defensive fundamentals: serve receive, passing, blocking and team defensive positioning.

COACH
Camp Director, Brandon Statler will be coaching his second year at Hillcrest Academy this fall. He started youth volleyball programs at Mid-Prairie and Washington. Brandon has served as head coach of numerous club teams and has assisted with the Iowa Rockets and USA Volleyball. He has also served as a high school volleyball official.

LOCATION: Hillcrest Academy, 1421 540th Street SW, Kalona, Iowa

ELIGIBILITY: Each camp is limited to 40 campers.

COST: $50 per child

Payment must be made after registering to ensure you child’s spot in the camp due to the capacity limit.

WHAT TO BRING: Volleyball shoes, knee pads, shorts, t-shirt and water bottle.
