Maya Kehr Yoder
Love and service are two of MAYA’s core values, both of which got her to tennis nationals twice while at Bethel College. A tough competitor and loyal collaborator – we’re glad she’s swinging for us. You can identify her as an English teacher by the pen behind her ear or the camera around her neck (she does yearbook, too). She is a communicator and an idea person. The ridiculously detailed notes she’ll take of your meeting will be hyperlinked to the point where they essentially become mini Wikipedia pages. She loves writing, leading, brainstorming, thinking deeply about faith, creating, and is at Hillcrest because that’s where she can do all those things. She finds joy in a cup of strong coffee, travel, a Cubs win, and silliness with her husband and son. Also chocolate. Any form of chocolate, really (except 90%+ cacao because that’s just asking too much of a person).
