Schrock and Miller Named to 1A All-State Golf Team

A successful spring on the course led the Hillcrest Academy Raven boys golf team to the Class 1A State Tournament for the second time in the last three years, and a pair of Ravens climbed the leaderboard into All-Tournament spots.

Senior Liam Schrock was a First-Team State Tournament selection. Schrock finished as Class 1A Runner-up with his two day total of 146, one shot away from the title. Schrock’s one-under-par 71 on day two was tied for the best round of the tournament.

Junior Rowan Miller was a Second-Team State Tournament selection. Miller fired a 153 for his two day total to place eighth. He went 76 and 77 across the two-day event.

Hillcrest finished in fourth place of 12 teams at state in 2025 with their score of 668, giving the Ravens a 35-8 overall record.

Both Schrock and Miller were members of the 2023 undefeated state championship team for the Ravens.
