Owen Scott Places 11th in State Long Jump

Thursday, Freshman Owen Scott placed eleventh in the long jump at the 1A boys state track and field championships.  Scott’s third jump of three jumps was twenty feet and three quarters of an inch.  Scott was seeded sixteenth in the field of twenty-four 1A long jumpers based on his state qualifying mark of twenty feet three and one half inch.  Scott was the highest placing freshman in the 1A long jump.  Congratulations Owen on a successful track and field season!
