The Love and Faithfulness of God: Chapel Oct. 3-7

The Love and Faithfulness of God: Chapel Oct. 3-7

For this week in chapel, we were working with the parables of Jesus from Luke 15:1-10, the parables of the lost sheep and the lost coin.

On Monday, we read through the scripture and paid attention to what the parables say about the character of God. We then viewed two Bible Project videos on two of the characteristics of God that are shown in these parables, the love (khesed) of God and the faithfulness (emet) of God.

There was no chapel on Tuesday because of a planned late start.

Wednesday’s chapel featured the songs and testimony of the Christian musician Lacrae. His story represents the love and faithfulness of a God and Saviour who seeks out the lost.

On Thursday, we heard stories about being lost and then found from senior Rebecca Farrier and Spanish teacher Sierra Cheney.

On Friday, we were privileged to have with us retired Hesston College professor John Sharp. John shared with us the story of his son M.J. Sharp, who gave his life for the sake of working for peace in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
