Sandersfeld And Swartzendruber Team Up To Lead The Music Department

Principal Dwight Gingerich announced that Shawn Sandersfeld and Donna Swartzendruber will join the Hillcrest Academy team in the fall of 2021 to fill the Music position. Shawn comes to Hillcrest following a long tenure at Linn-Mar High School. Shawn and his wife, Jennifer, live in Middle Amana, are the parents of eight children, and attend Calvary Baptist Church in Cedar Rapids. Donna has served as choir director at Lower Deer Creek Mennonite Church, where she and husband Dick attend. Donna earlier directed The Sound of Music for the school. Dick and Donna are the parents of two adult daughters and have two grandchildren.
