Statler Named Head Volleyball Coach

Principal Dwight Gingerich announced that Brandon Statler will join the Hillcrest Academy team in the fall of 2021 as Head Volleyball Coach.

Brandon comes to the Ravens staff following an extensive period of coaching in the area, starting youth volleyball programs at Mid-Prairie and Washington. Brandon has served as head coach of numerous club teams and has assisted with the Iowa Rockets and USA Volleyball. He has also served as a high school volleyball official.

Brandon is married to Amy, and they with their children Kylee (14), Ashlee (9), Brynlee (5), and Emilee (4) attend CityPoint Church in Washington. Brandon is also the owner of Boyd Sausage Co. in Washington.

Brandon replaces Taylor Kurtz, who stepped down to pursue graduate school.
